Two things of note this week — (1) Bella Fiore’s open house went really well. Many people showed up, including some of my own clients and even long time friends, and (2) My first week of business was extremely busy, and included a few new clients! I *did* have a no-show/no-call, so just a reminder that when you do that, you cannot make another appointment with me unless you prepay me for them. I was asked about using scheduling software. I do not offer online booking at this time, but I do have multiple social media accounts, plus accept texts, calls, & voicemail on my cell phone. You can basically send me a message any time through any of my professional means, and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I may offer online booking later, but for now, it all runs through my Google calendar. I was also asked about retail. I do have a few things available all the time (files, buffers, mini lotion, cuticle oil, etc), but if you need a bigger size or something specific, just ask! I can usually get it same week. I encourage you to do everything in your power to purchase your professional products from your local beaufy professionals. Yes, you can probably get it cheaper online or at your local grocery store… but you cannot know for sure it’s in date, not mixed with other products or water, and/or even the product it’s supposed to be (Fred Meyer, for instance, is NOT a licensed distributor of any professional line — hair care & nail care). This is just ONE article (of hundreds, should you care to look) as to why you should never buy from anyone other than a beauty supply store who has distributor rights or a beauty professional (In Oregon, we used to have to sign a contract with each supply stores, stating we weren’t diverting product, among other things). That being said, I also want to thank my co-workers for being so open, kind, and willing to bring me into the fold. I very much appreciate the huge welcome and look forward to expanding my business at this location.
