First, please know that I do not judge you; not for your feet, not for your fingernails, not for anything. Any time someone decides to do anything for the first time, it can be a little stressful. That said – please relax! It is my job (and I enjoy it) to not only make your toenails look nicer, but to also give your feet some TLC. A pedicure is not only “painting your toenails”; it is a full-foot cleanup, and it is made for EVERYONE!
Some things to know *before you come*:
- Please do not shave less than 24hrs before your appointment. While I do everything I can to make sure you get a clean service, we are not in a surgical environment & I can’t control everything. Please do your part. Honestly, I’d prefer you to come to me a bit hairy. ?
- Your appointment will last about an hour.
- Please bring flip flops or sandals that do not cover your toenails if you’re getting a traditional pedicure. I do offer a gel polish upgrade; no need for open shoes then!
- I am an all-inclusive nail tech. I don’t discriminate based on anything, but especially your gender. I only want to make your nails, skin, & muscles look & feel better.
- I use mostly lemon or other citrus scented items in my studio. If you prefer another scent, please feel free to bring it with you.
- I use disinfectible files, buffers, and metal implements – NO BLADES. Everything is cleaned, disinfected, and maintained per Oregon state regulations. Orangewood sticks, toe separators, etc are not disinfectible and therefore are thrown away after each service (however, you may take your toe separators & bring them back each time, if you wish).
- My pedicure chair uses a disposable plastic liner, which gets thrown away after each use. No jets (which can be difficult to keep clean, anyway); only leather, massage, and heat.
- You’ll want to wear loose-ish pants, or shorts, a skirt, or a dress. I need access to you from your knees downward.
Of course this doesn’t answer everything, so if you have more questions or concerns, please feel free to email or message me on Facebook.
